Friday’s FLIP UP

A little history:

    For those who don’t know…. the flip up was created during the first part of the year and is one of my favorite things about bloggin. I have been on the look out for many bloggs of all shapes and sizes. I have found some truely funny, to the serious to the ridiculous because of this award.

   It all started as I was remembering back to the elementary days of my youth. We had a Friday Flip-up day. This was where all the little boys went around and flipped up the skirts of all the little girls in our first grade class. I hated wearing a dress so I didn’t have many tramatic fridays in first grade. But there were some little gals who have probably repressed some major memories of fridays gone by.

   This week I would like to give this award a blogger that helped me get started. She has helped many a moms start blogging. She is famous in the MOM blogosphere. Funny, witty, full of great ideas, inspirational, and she creates her own words. She is on almost all blogrolls I have seen. She has hosted the Tip Tuesday for as long as I have been reading.—around November 2005. She has great shots of her kids and the stories behind them are "a riot". She has a sister who was the first winner of the Friday Flip up over at One woman’s World.

     This Blogger has made her blog a safe place for great discussion, exchange of ideas, and helps for moms and families literally everywhere! I was refered to her through my sister-in-law who doesn’t have kids and yes she is still hooked.

    I am excited to give this award this week to……

Friday Night’s FLIP

    I have not done a flip for a good while. So this week’s flip goes to someone who has really been a fun read. She gives awards! And People You know how I love awards!! She is famous for an "infamous incedent at work" and she has some fun hair shots as of late. 

    She is working on her template and so if you have some SkillZ this is a shout out for some help. She is a brave soul who has just recently taken up going back to school. I am pretty impressed with this Mom, student, cousin, and all around great writer. Oh and if you would like to have the greatest neighbor you will have to move to her neighborhood, her house and kids are magnets for fun times and all day adventures To her shagrin. She takes it with style and grace, only she can pull off. I have been one BIG fan for all my bloggin days.

This Week’s Flip

    I am so sad I didn’t think of this Blog title when I was naming my bloggy. First off I know it is late to post this and many people are on Date Night. But I am so excited about giving this award away!!

    This blogger is awe inspiring she reminds me of the fun and precious times before children came into our world. She makes loving life look like second nature. I am thinking of the statement "Carpe Diem"– Jeese that is just cheesey I know, but folks it is such a great blog. CHeck it out!! She really is journaling the great stuff and making it so fun to read in the process. I love her Wednesday Cooking Mini show. She has giving me the motive to stop nuking the freezer food for a night or two. –That is saying a lot here!!–

Saturday Flippin’ Rules

    This week there is a cool Blogger that I would like to introduce……She is and amazing artist. She is a talented writer and I have lurked for weeks on her blogg. She has an adorable family and is doing renovations on her home. I am pretty impressed with the idea of her notebooks flying around the country being written in and then sent on.

       I go to her sight for creative spark lighting. She has inspired many a posts. She just got hired to a new posistion.

Friday Flip-up time!!

    Today I am pretty stoked that this person is bloggin. She is a bundle of laughs and has entertained me for some time with Factoid Friday. She loves Etta James ( a very great artist of feel good music if you ask me). Then there is the humor. Oh. The. Humor. Writing is just a hobbie to get the stuff out of the brain for me. She makes her bloggy a great place to kick off your shoes, relax, and laugh.

   Concrete, Kids, Marriage over ten years, this blog has got it all!! and one great author to boot!!

Friday Flip-up(On Saturday: Explination in the previous post!!)

Ok there are so many things that I love about this person’s blog. First she is mom two soon to be three. She is FUNNNNNNEEEEEEYYYYYY. She did multiple posts of how she met and dated her husband.

    She is the reason there are marshmellows in my bathroom for my two year old to sit on the potty. She has been one of my favorites for a long time and really deserves more than just a blogger FLIP. She is one of those writers that has a way of pulling you into her day and showing you around with hopitaility and grace that is rarely found in the blogosphere. Oh did I mention that she is a great Seamstress??

Friday Flip-up!

    This week’s winner is someone I can relate to. Someone, I think a whole lota people can relate too. She tells it like it is, and loves her family. She has inspired me to dig for really good literature to read to my toddlers. She has possibly the roughest job there is -teaching- and I mean awesome at the themed birthday party. She has a love for life that is rare amoung bloggers today. I am always reading about positive things on this bloggy!!

    I would like to Flip her for being real, while being real positive in a world that can get negative really quick (Including my own).

Friday Flip-up ??? Sure just late really late.

Here we are again…. Friday.. night ……. Really late…. but Friday still has about fourty or so minutes in it.

    So here goes….. I have lurked and commented on and most recently gotten hooked. She is funny not bathroom humor, cheap shot funny, but genuinely funny. It may be that she is from the place I recently visited. It maybe the deadly combo that no blog-reader likes because she becomes self conscious about the quality of her own blog. The dual elements I speak of are 1.  refreshingly well written posts with a dash of 2. Quick wit.
