Super bowl Sunday
February 5, 2008 – 8:11 pmWith all three children with green drippy noses I stayed home from church and did prep work. Prep for the festive snacking. It started with a huge bottom round roast and ended with pepper and some liquid smoke. I made JERKY. Then breadsticks that were stuffed with cheese. I can’t believe how fast the guacamole went.
I have a neighbor. One of those neighbors that you instantly bond with. We will name her "BOMB". She has always been there in times of need. She is here or I am usually over there. Our kids are all one jumble of fun craziness. We laugh. So hard that tears didn’t drip out they shoot out of my eyes.
She has taught me how to do jerky. I know there will be stories lots of them that I need to post.

Mmmm. We made deer jerky a couple weeks ago. I did wings and rotel dip for Superbowl sunday.
