Tuesday Toughness!!

    Fuel for my body seems to have a theme. Artifical Flavors, Sugar, and good old fashioned carbohydrates. I have been bless with a fantastic motabolism. I know that this will all end the day I turn thirty. So I have been living it up while I can. I also tell myself foolish lies like "I will not have any consequences for my neglectful eating habits"& "My small frame will always be like this 4-ev-er."

    My body now is trying to preform some major feats. Like 60 minutes straight of 1983 versions of the "FIRM". The perm solution has definately caused some neural connections to miss fire. I have been doing the "FIRM" for two workouts now and have decided to test out the small guarentee on the box.

    "Visible results in only 10 workouts"

    If there are no visible results in 10 workouts I am done with the Hightops-leg-warmer- and- really- high cut -liatard- wearing instructors and going to the gym. I know that there have been some major fitness changes in the past 20 years but I still think it is fun.

  Why you ask? FUN to workout?? What is this non-sense she speaks of??

    One word …… BAND. Watching my Band do the ball room dance moves as I am a total clutz is highly entertaining. His coordination is amazing. I can’t do half the moves and default to running in place, as to not injur myself with a trip or fall.  All the while my Band is two stepping, sashaying, fanning, and simutaniously executing perfect Jazz Hands. 

    So we only have eight more work outs baby. Maybe the next 4 we will add some weights. Once again, I am putting in my flakeout disclaimer ….No results, no more working out with "The Firm".

   So no I am not going to be eating as bad as normal cause my body needs some better fuel than the low octain it has been fed for so long.

P.S. this maybe my last post, for when The Band reads this I am dead!!!

  2. Ah yes, the Firm. Sadly, I have never made it to the ten workouts to see about those visible results. I think that is why they can make that guarantee– nobody ever gets to ten. Just my opinion anyway.

  3. We used the Firm workouts in my physical education class in college! LOL! I don’t think I’ve used a work out tape since. Oh, and, just so ya know…I’m 31…and my metabolism hasn’t slowed down. Sooo…maybe you’ll be lucky there, too. :-)

  5. I love “The Firm” workout videos I use! Mine are newer though, no 80’s outfits :-) I’m not at my desired weight yet, and won’t be for awhile since I’d like to get pregnant again soon, but I know my exercising is helping me to stay healthy…and I AM firmer in certain areas!

  7. Totally lost as to The Firm or the Band, but you go girl! I’m 31 too, and it hasn’t slowed down too much.
