The tales from the Road Trip.
April 10, 2006 – 7:17 pmLast week we went on a trip. A very eventful trip. I fell in love with as small town where my good friend lives. Called—Lehi Utah. I miss my family and friends terribly. My sister works for a Pediatric Dentist and got us in to see the doctor!! Oh yes he finally got the tooth fixed!! He has gone around with a cavity that hasn’t given him too much trouble but was really obvious. I really wanted someone to do something and not just look at it. The Dentist was awesome!! If anyone needs a great Pediatric Dentist he is the guy. I traveled over 600 miles to see him and I would do it again if the need arose.
The road was wonderful and I listened to "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. It was really good and kept me awake for a good long time.
The roads were not so clear when we had planned our return trip so we waited an extra day and made the journey with clear weather. I missed my bed!! I missed my husband!! and I missed my kid’s schedule.

On the way home I was listening to Chronicles of Narnia the third book. "A Horse and His Boy" Not bad thus far. I am going to finish it by reading it.

You drove by yourself with two kids???? Amazing! I cannot drive more than 1 1/2 hours or I fall asleep. My poor husband has to drive the whole time when we take road trips. I have done a lot of flights with my kids by myself, but have never driven alone with them for more than 2 hours. Brave woman!
We’re going to Utah this summer, can’t wait!
